Privacy policy
This policy applies to the Aivinya OpenSource Labs website and the extensions and software published under it.
We keep data collection minimal.
The personal information we intentionally collect is limited to your name and email address when you choose to provide them, such as when contacting us, signing up for updates, or using a product feature that asks for those details.
We do not use advertising trackers, and we do not use analytics tools on this site at this time.
Product access stays limited to what is needed to function.
Some extensions or software may need access to specific user-authorized data or third- party services to provide their core features. When that happens, the access is used only to deliver the product experience and not for unrelated advertising or profiling.
Unless a product clearly states otherwise, the personal information we collect remains limited to name and email address.
The site does not run a user-data backend.
This website is a static informational site. It does not provide user accounts, does not run application API routes for collecting user data, and does not connect to a database for storing user information.
Our current extensions read the data needed for their features on demand after the user grants permission. The extension processes that data in the user's browser. We do not copy, sync, or store Google user data on Aivinya OpenSource Labs servers.
Extension preferences and product state, such as selected playlists, due-video state, watched status, snooze status, and repeat intervals, are stored only in the respective user's browser-managed extension storage on that user's device.
Google user data is protected with limited access and security controls.
Some extensions, including YouTube-related tools, may request access to Google user data such as YouTube playlists, Watch Later items, video identifiers, video metadata, and user-selected rewatch status. This data is used only to provide or improve the user-facing features requested by the user, such as loading selected playlists, showing due videos, marking videos as watched, or snoozing videos for later.
We do not store Google user data on our own servers. For current extensions, Google user data is read on demand, processed in the user's browser, and not copied to an Aivinya OpenSource Labs backend.
We do not use Google user data for advertising, retargeting, credit-worthiness, lending, sale to data brokers, resale to information providers, or training AI models. We do not sell, rent, or trade Google user data.
Security procedures are in place to protect the confidentiality of Google user data. We request only the permissions needed for product functionality, use Google OAuth for authorization, transmit data over HTTPS/TLS where network transfer is required, and restrict access to operational use by the site operator. Credentials, tokens, and product data are not made public, and access is reviewed when product functionality changes.
Where data is stored locally by an extension, it is kept in browser-managed extension storage and is subject to the browser and operating system security controls available on the user's device. If a future product requires any server-side storage, syncing, or processing of Google user data, that product will disclose the change before use and we will update this policy before the change takes effect.
Information is used only to operate and communicate.
We may use your name and email address to respond to messages, provide requested updates, support the operation of a product, and communicate important service changes.
If we ever decide to monetize this site or any related development under Aivinya OpenSource Labs, we will send an update to existing users before material changes take effect.
We do not sell your information.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may disclose information only if required by law or if reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, or the integrity of the service.
We keep contact information only for as long as it is reasonably needed for communication, support, product access, or legal obligations. We do not store Google user data on our own servers for current extensions.
You can request access, correction, or deletion.
If you want to know what personal information we have about you, correct it, or ask us to delete it, email kunal@infrahive.ai.
We will make a reasonable effort to respond promptly, subject to any legal or security requirements.
Non-profit intent, policy updates, and contact.
This site and the developments published under Aivinya OpenSource Labs are currently intended to operate on a non-profit basis. If that changes in the future, we will update this policy and notify existing users through the contact information available to us before material changes take effect.
This policy may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the site or related products after an updated policy is published means you accept the revised version.
