Terms

Terms of use

These terms apply to the Aivinya OpenSource Labs website and the extensions and software published under it.

Use of the Site

Use the site and products lawfully and respectfully.

You may use this site and related extensions or software only in compliance with applicable law, these terms, and any rules or requirements clearly shown for a specific product.

You may not misuse the site or products, interfere with their operation, attempt to gain unauthorized access, or use them in a way that harms other users or the service.

Ownership

The site and brand are operated by Aivinya OpenSource Labs.

Unless otherwise stated, the website, branding, product materials, and related content are owned by Aivinya OpenSource Labs. Open-source repositories or third-party components may be governed by their own licenses, which continue to apply separately.

Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of the site, products, or underlying intellectual property to you.

Accounts and Contact Data

The site does not provide user accounts.

This website is a static informational site. It does not provide user accounts, does not run application API routes for collecting user data, and does not connect to a database for storing user information.

If you contact us or provide your name or email address, you agree that the information is accurate and that we may use it to communicate with you about support, updates, or material service changes.

Your use of personal information is also governed by the privacy policy.

Third-Party Services

Some products may depend on external platforms.

Extensions or software published under Aivinya OpenSource Labs may interact with third-party platforms or services in order to function. Your use of those platforms is also subject to their own terms and policies.

We are not responsible for third-party platforms, content, or service interruptions outside our control.

Extension Storage

Extension data is processed and stored in the user's browser.

Current extensions published under Aivinya OpenSource Labs read the data needed for their features on demand after the user grants permission. That data is processed in the user's browser and is not copied, synced, or stored on Aivinya OpenSource Labs servers.

Extension preferences and product state, such as selected playlists, due-video state, watched status, snooze status, and repeat intervals, are stored only in the respective user's browser-managed extension storage on that user's device.

Because this data is stored locally in the user's browser, users are responsible for managing their own browser profile, device access, browser extension settings, and any browser-level data deletion or sync behavior controlled by their browser or operating system.

Non-Profit Intent

The current intent is to operate on a non-profit basis.

This site and the developments published under Aivinya OpenSource Labs are currently intended to operate on a non-profit basis.

If we decide to monetize in the future, we will send an update to existing users before material changes take effect.

Disclaimers and Liability

The site and products are provided as available.

The site and related products are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable United States law, Aivinya OpenSource Labs will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the site or related products.

Changes, Governing Law, and Contact

These terms may change over time.

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the site or related products after an updated version is published means you accept the revised terms.

These terms are intended to be interpreted under the applicable laws of the United States, to the extent permitted by law.

Questions about these terms can be sent to kunal@infrahive.ai.
